Welcome to Mrs. Goudeau's class!

Communication:

You will get graded papers in a green folder weekly.   Please review them with your child and sign the cover page.  Please return them the following day.  We must keep these papers for the year. 

Homework: 

Math: Pages will vary from lesson to lesson.  Please see your child's take-home binder.

Fluency: Students receive a short fluency piece to read each week.  These should be read nightly.  Repeated readings help us to build on our reading skills. 

AR reading: 15 minutes nightly.  Asking questions about character, setting, plot helps build on comprehension skills.  We are still learning to read, and will soon be reading to learn!

2nd Nine weeks Reading: 

Our unit for reading the 2nd nine weeks is all about the water cycle.  We are learning about evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection.  Ask your child what they have learned to keep up with what we know!
